February Broadcast Launch A Success

I thought it might be a good time to update you as to how Red Tail Reborn is doing. Our broadcasts on PBS, which began this past February, have done very well.

PBS has informed me that the film aired in February on 120 stations nationwide, with over 150 broadcasts on those stations. These stations represent 56% of the total households in the United States. Keep in mind, these numbers represent only the standard definition PBS stations. Red Tail Reborn was also broadcast on PBS HD. Including the high-definition PBS stations, the count of broadcasts is almost doubled.

The story is not over, though. Not by a long shot.

PBS stations will be airing Red Tail Reborn for the next 18 months. As part of celebrating Veterans Day, PBS will have a "relaunch" of the film to the over 350 stations in the country this November. This effort is designed to pick up any stations that did not air the film the first time around.

Red Tail Reborn will also have a presence again at Air Venture in Oshkosh, WI. The details are still being worked out, but the film will have a booth in one of the hangars as well as several screenings at different locations on the show grounds.
